Peace Free Writing

Humans are incapable of understanding each other, we seek peace according to our own sense of what we believe is justice, and once we think we've established peace, another will come and destroy what was temporary peace under their drive for vengeance which they will think is just. If there's justice in vengeance, the only thing that will happen is peace will be present shortly and the justice we thought was righteous will only breed more vengeance and cause a never ending cycle of hate. Then how will peace ever prevail in our world? Peace will never capture the hearts of humans for right now at this very moment, there is a war ongoing, smack being talked, people getting murdered, a shop being robbed, a person getting physically and verbally abused.....etc. Evil is in every corner and is waiting to harness the souls of many wanderers.Our goal as a civilization is to create peace and bring about justice, but how will we do that if we cant even bring justice and peace in our very own homes and within ourselves?

    About peace

    I think that humans can understand each other, that is why we get along. Also, I don't think that we all seek for vengeance when someone comes and takes away our peace because sometimes what gives us peace may not be right, like killing someone. I don't think evil is in evry corner, there are a lot of good things that people miss because they are waiting for something bad to happen.

    I agree with you. Evil is around us, society is now cruel and it is hard to see people with good hearts now in days. It is sad to say this but it is happening all around the world. How is it possible that people are not ashamed of killing other humans? Sadly, this has turned into a sick world.

    Unfortunately i agree with the statement that our world has become violent and selfish by every generation. I agree that violence is around us in our everyday life and its our decision to join it or follow justice and peace. Im aware that if we dont make the decision to prevail the cruel things that happen around us than who will? Everybody wants peace but what do we actually do about it? There should be a reason to kill, kidnap, rob or rape children in the first place, but unluckily this is the world we live in today...

    I think that it is a choice to see the goodness instead of only thinking all is bad, but yes it is also a choice whether to do something about the bad stuff that Everybody sees in some way. I think a BIG contruíbution to the bad things in the world is the Ignorance of most people who say that they are good and want peace..

    I agree with what Monette is saying about us never having peace within ourselves and our community. There is always something terrible that goes on in the news that we can escape the reality. There will never be peace unless there is Justice to bring these criminals down.

    I agree with you when you say that our goal is to bring peace and justice to our civilization. There are too many problems going on in the world and we just need to find a middle ground and for once have peace overall.

    I think that instead of creating peace by means of justice we should do it by means of forgiveness and love. Because as Mahatma Ghandi said: "An eye for an eye leaves the whole world blind."
